This project involved the development of a Bulk Milk Processing Centre located in Kipkelion, Kericho County, for the International Livestock Research Institute (ILRI). The project commenced in June 2017 and comprised key facilities necessary for the operation of the centre, including a processing plant, generator houses, and administration offices.
Renaissance Africa Consult Ltd provided multidisciplinary consultancy services for the project, including architectural, structural, quantity surveying, mechanical, and electrical engineering services. The professional team comprised a Project Manager, an Architect, a Quantity Surveyor, an Electrical Engineer, a Civil/Structural Engineer, and a Mechanical Engineer.
The project was led by Architect Gideon Ngumbau, who served as the Project Manager and Team Leader, providing overall project leadership and coordinating site meetings and inspections. Bosko Engineering Ltd participated as an associated consultant for a period of twelve months.
The Kipkelion Bulk Milk Collection Centre was completed and handed over on 14th January 2019 and is currently in operation.
